Testing out the Nikkor 85mm f2

I finally took this lens out for testing. It was 1pm so it wasn't the ideal time for taking outdoor photos but I thought it did just fine. I decided against using the diffuser because of the wind so we were looking for shade under the leafless trees :( There was no lens hood so you will see sun flares in some of the photographs.

The compression is amazing and is comparable to my 135 which I love. Colors are quite vivid to my surprise. I really enjoyed shooting with this lens. Distance to subject is actually ok for what I want to do.

Definitely going to sit in with my other lens of choice, the nifty 50mm and 35mm.
